Firemacs ReviewComing from a stock vim setup, I just built on a template, or absorbed from other templates, essentially creating a Frankenstein build. I wanted to start my emacs configuration much more simply, so its something that I was hoping to keep much more lean than what I had built in neovim. Could someone take a moment to vet the config and give me some tips? Here is a link to the configuration, I call it "Firemacs", partly because it's significantly faster than my vim config in every conceivable way (UI, movement, operations, coding harness rendering via eat, etc.): github.com/66-firebat/emacsOne of the biggest issues I am having currently is setting up a commenting bind. I haven't yet figure out how to set a simple keybind (like <leader> gc) to a comment-line action. I have a TODO set up in the README, and anyone is free to contribute to that, if you have suggestions. In retrospect, I may have to rearrange the layout of this entire repo, and I am open to insight from some of the more experienced emacs users here. Would also appreciate any materials to learn more about lisp in general, I have a growing desire to set up my entire system configuration in a unified language (GUIX, emcas, emacswm), and getting brought up to speed on the language would be fantastic. Thanks in advance for your time!reddit.com/link/1uctzm3/video/ryey1l39yv8…
