No Shot ExplanationFairly new football better here, so apologize if I don't understand. Dembélé in World Cup 3rd place game was not credited by Opta for a 3rd shot for some reason.Placed a live bet on Fanduel at +750 for Dembélé to take a 3rd shot around the 65 minute mark. At that point he had 2 credited shots according to FD (roughly at 56' and 64'). He then scored the 9th goal at 90' + 5. I saw the 3rd shot count in my slip and was ready to cash, except by game end it did not. Can anyone explain why a shot may have been taken away? The only possible explanation I can think of is that Dembélé's saved shot taken at 56' (no offsides) was followed up by Olise's shot about 7 seconds later, which was ruled offsides. Shouldn't that offsides negate only Olise's shot or am I mistaken? And then also how did that incorrect stat manage to slip through all the way to game finish 40 minutes later?
