I stumbled upon a clip that had gone viral, claiming that a certain well-known celebrity had publicly endorsed a rather dubious health supplement. The video showed the celebrity speaking, but something about it felt off from the very first few seconds. What I saw and heard was a promotional segment where this celebrity appeared to be enthusiastically recommending a detox tea, saying it had transformed their energy levels and helped them lose weight dramatically. The problem was, I'd watched an interview with this same person just a week earlier, where they had explicitly spoken out against fad diets and quick-fix health products. The mannerisms in the viral clip seemed slightly unnatural too — the blinking was off, and the lip movements didn't quite sync with the audio.I thought it wasn't true for several reasons. First and foremost, the video showed clear signs of being a deepfake or at least a heavily manipulated recording — the facial expressions were slightly robotic, and the lighting didn't match the background. Secondly, the claims themselves were wildly exaggerated, with promises of losing several kilograms in a matter of days, which any reasonable person would know is neither safe nor realistic. And thirdly, the account that posted it had a history of spreading misleading content, which made the whole thing even less credible. As for how I felt, I was honestly quite unsettled. It wasn't just annoyance at seeing yet another piece of misinformation — it was more a sense of unease about how convincing the technology had become. If I hadn't happened to watch that earlier interview, I might have been fooled myself, and I dread to think how many people without that context were taken in. It made me realise how vulnerable we all are in this digital age, where seeing is no longer believing. That experience really stuck with me and made me much more cautious about everything I consume online.لینک دسترسی به سوالات پارت یک همین تست 👇t.me/ieltsspeakingassistants/1930%F0%9F%9…
